Volume 2 of the electzilla series is here finally !! And u lucky peeps get first glimpse. Full of a heavy set of basslines and my favorite old school rave samples vol 2 is not going to dissapoint. The King Of Pop

Friday was a crazy day its not often you remember where you were when someone dies. I remember when Princess Diana passed and for some reason President Nixon. But Jacko passing was so not expected but i spose death never is right? For me there was two Mike the music man and Mike the controversial man caught up in loads court cases and extravagance! All that needs to be said is the guy was more famous than Jesus and Coca Cola put together and the following weeks will show this. One of my favorite performance from Mike was this Motown 25 Celebration where he performed with the Jackson 5 for the first time since his new album launched. Man he owned that stage that night. The look on his face befre he drops billie jean, he knows hes about to "bun the rave" so to speak lol enjoy and big up mike music would not have been the same without him....

Must be in love with Cassie....

Had this on promo since about mid April and now the video for this is about to drop. Directed by Bernard Gourley, a dark sexy smouldering scene, involving ice and Cassie (that sounds good to me ). The track is somewhat reminiscent of classic Bad Boy from the 90’s all thats missing is cold ass verse from Big (Rip). The first video from Cassie sporting the new hair style , which i think is pretty dope TBH!

Produced by duo Bryan Michael Cox & Mario Winans, this is cassie’s first single from her “Electro Love” album dropping in the next few weeks.

Welcome to another brand new and exclusive monthly podcast from the Ego Thieves. This is our Electro/Fidget House series Electzilla. The name is taken from our love of Electronica music and Japanese comic monsters. A bit of beast with your beats :) Its the perfect combination. For this series we called upon up and coming DJ, I Am Kane. Check him out and watch out for his contributions to the site also if you have not already seen them.

God dam i been on a old school hip hop vibe ever since seeing the Notorious movie!

Straight up the movie is actually really good , probably due to the fact that the guys life was actually worth telling. Its the rise and fall aspect of it that makes it a good movie, well as well as that the cast itself was well chosen and the story well told . The story of Biggie gracefully told over a hour and a half well worth the £6.50.

I been listening to biggie tracks non stop since seeing that movie, tracking down allsorts of tracks he's appeared on and guested on. I soon realised he's my favorite artist/rapper! Dam that guy had it all , rugged lyrics , the voice , the swagger , the charm and those infectious beats!! (see sky's the limit feat 112)

I often think how his carrer would of gone if he's still been around and what his opinions would of been on the music game and how its changed since back in the 90's.


Anyway to my point of the post , i been playing loads of hip hop in my car so got around to doin a liitle mix and throwing some vinyl down for old times sake.
